The Closomat
®
should basically be cleaned
by hand like a normal WC. The pan of
high-grade sanitary porcelain can be
cleaned with all commercially available WC
cleaners and scale removers. Please read
through the separately enclosed
instructions from the manufacturer, Laufen,
regarding the handling of the special
“Wondergliss” surface. The openings be-
low the “closed” flush rim of the bowl
must be kept free from calcium deposits
in order to maintain the full rinsing
performance. When purchasing cleaning
agents ensure in general that they are
environmentally-compatible and use them
as sparingly as possible. Do not use
WC deodorants, either suspended from
the flushing rim or in the cistern.

Seat
The seat is of insertable design to simplify
cleaning around the seat hinge. It can be
removed in one operation.
Removing the seat:
– Open cover

– Grip inner side of hinge hear

with
both thumbs.
– Hold seat with fingers and draw
vertically upwards evenly with a slight
jerk.
Refitting the seat:
– Place seat

horizontally on pan.
– Ensure that bolts
[14]
enter the sleeve
holes
[15]
.
– Ensure by pressing briefly on both rear
cover corners that the seat has
engaged correctly.
