Attachments and Buckets
Installing the Attachment Arm
1.
Align the vehicle with the attachment arms
(Figure 47)
.
2.
Stop the engine, put the Forward/Reverse Handle in NEUTRAL, engage the park brake, unfasten your seat
belt, and exit the vehicle.
3.
Remove the retaining rings (2) and the pins (1) from the attachment arm (both sides)
(Figure 46)
.
4.
Raise the attachment arms and align the holes in the attachment arms to the vehicle mounting holes
(Figure 48)
.
5.
Install the pins (2) and retaining rings (1) (both sides).
WARNING
• Do not have hands in the area of the cylinders when extending or retracting the cylinders.
6.
Remove the two retaining rings (4 and 7) and pins (3 and 6) that secure the two cylinders (1 and 5) to the
locking plate (2)

7.
Swing the attachment interface cylinder down.
8.
Turn the key to the ON position but DO NOT start the engine.
9.
Move the joystick (1) forward to extend the attachment arm cylinder
(Figure 50)
.
10. Move the joystick (1) to the right to extend the attachment interface cylinder.
11. Turn the key to the OFF position.
NOTE:
When aligning the cylinders to the attachment arm and interface during installation, the cylinders may need
to be retracted slightly to relieve the hydraulic pressure. Do not have hands in the area of the cylinders
when extending or retracting the cylinders.
12. Raise the attachment arm (1) and align it with the cylinder (2). Install the pin (3) and retaining ring (4)
(Figure 51)
