Disconnect the cable end from the park brake pedal assembly by removing the bow tie locking pin (1) and clevis
pin (2)
4.
Remove the three bolts (3) and locknuts (4) that secure both the park brake pedal assembly and the cable
anchor bracket (5) to the chassis.
5.
Remove the park brake pedal assembly from the vehicle.

PARK BRAKE PEDAL ASSEMBLY INSTALLATION – CABLE ONLY SYSTEM
1.
If installing a used assembly, be sure to use a small, stiff brush to remove all dirt and debris from the ratchet
teeth
2.
Secure the cable anchor bracket (5) and park brake pedal assembly with three bolts (3) and locknuts (4). Tighten
the locknuts to 15 ft-lb (20 N·m).
3.
Connect the cable end to the park brake pedal assembly with bow tie locking pin (1) and clevis pin (2).
4.
Connect battery.

5.
Adjust the brake cable equalizer.
