TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE
The following troubleshooting guide will be helpful in identifying operating difficulties should they occur. The guide
includes the symptom, probable cause(s) and suggested checks.

Water in fuel system
Replace fuel and fuel filter.
Fuel filter clogged
Replace fuel filter.
Fuel line or pipe(s) clogged
Clean or replace fuel line and/or pipe(s).
Fuel leak caused by loose injection pipe
retaining nut
Tighten nut. See the Kubota D722 diesel
engine manual (CC P/N 103840201).
Air in fuel system
Injection nozzle clogged
Injection pump failed
Fuel pump failure
Incorrect injection timing
Excessive valve clearance
Improper valve seat alignment, valve spring
broken, or valve seized
Improper valve timing
Piston ring worn
Cylinder compression leak
Fuel cam shaft worn
Seizure of crankshaft, camshaft, piston, or
bearing
