Thermostat Switch
ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS: DIESEL VEHICLES
1.
Attach the connector harness to the halogen bulb. The retaining tab should lock onto the halogen bulb
2.
From the front of vehicle, reach under the cowl and insert the bulb assembly into the headlight lens.
3.
Turn the bulb assembly counterclockwise one-quarter turn.
4.
Connect battery.

THERMOSTAT SWITCH REMOVAL
1.
Disable the vehicle.
See Disabling the Vehicle on page 1-3.
2.
Disconnect the two-pin connector between the thermostat switch and the wire harness
See following WARNING.
WARNING
• Hot! Coolant system is pressurized. Do not remove thermostat switch while engine is hot.
3.
Loosen the radiator cap to relieve pressure.
4.
Unscrew the thermostat switch from the engine block.
See preceding WARNING.
