FORWARD/REVERSE CONTROL
The Forward/Reverse shift handle is located on the seat support panel, below and to the right of the driver’s
right knee
(Figure 5, Page 17)
. The handle has three distinct positions:
F
(forward),
N
(neutral), and
R
(reverse). Rotate the handle towards the driver,
F
(forward), to operate the vehicle in the FORWARD direc-
tion, or towards the passenger,
R
(reverse), to operate the vehicle in REVERSE. When the handle is in the
straight up, or
N
(neutral) position, the vehicle will not operate. The engine in a gasoline powered Tourall will
shut down if the vehicle is shifted to NEUTRAL while the engine is running. All Club Car transportation vehi-
cles operate at reduced speed in REVERSE
.
Tourall Electric Vehicles with PowerDrive Plus (Motor Braking)
The Forward/Reverse switch shifter is located on the seat support panel below and to the right of the driver’s
right knee
(Figure 6)
. The FORWARD (
F
) and REVERSE (
R
) positions are clearly marked on the switch.
Push down the (
F
) side of the switch to operate the vehicle in the FORWARD direction, or push down on the
(
R
) side of the switch to operate the vehicle in REVERSE. When neither side is depressed, the vehicle is in
the NEUTRAL position and will not operate if the accelerator pedal depressed.
•
THE REVERSE BUZZER(S) WILL SOUND AS A WARNING WHEN THE VEHICLE IS IN REVERSE.
