• Protect the machine against hard blows! Do not
drop the machine! If the machine was exposed
to hard blows, make sure immediately that no
fuel is leaking (risk of fire and explosion!)
• Check the fuel system regularly for leaks or
defective parts.
• Make sure that no persons or animals are within
your work area when you start working.
• Before using the machine on surfaces to be
trimmed, search them for animals and objects.
Remove all objects, which could be flung by the
machine. Remove all long objects which might
become entangled with the trimming tool.
• Make sure there are no obstacles in your work
area.
• Ensure that your machine has been fully and
properly assembled.
• Check that the machine works properly and
make sure, in particular, that its rotating parts sit
tightly and properly.
• The machine will vibrate during operation. This
may cause its screws and parts to loosen.
Therefore, check all screws and parts for tight-
ness.
• Symbols located on your machine may not be
removed or covered. Replace any information on
your machine immediately that it becomes illeg-
ible.
