System Setup and Operation
Mounting Antennas
Your field Antenna is located in the press box case under the Press Box Rack Unit, along with its mounting hardware. You
have two options when mounting your Antenna: using the suction cup or the super clamp. Setup instructions for each type
of mount are provided below.
Important!
Use only approved Antennas to avoid possible FCC violations! The Antenna mounted to the
XRT-ANT-900 is not user replaceable.
CAUTION:
Failure to comply with the following may result in equipment damage, damage to surface
area, or personal injury.
Using the Suction Cup
1. Loosen the ball mount knob so the hex standoff can rotate.
2. Twist the Antenna’s hex standoff onto the top of the suction cup’s stud, securely tightening it. Then, re-tighten
the ball mount knob.
3. Attach the suction cup’s safety cable to a fixed object.
4. Press the suction cup to a dry, flat surface, such as a table or a glass window.
CAUTION:
Attempting to secure the suction cup to a moist or textured surface may cause malfunction,
which could result in damage to equipment, persons, or property below mounting area.
5. Press the pump button until the red line on its side is no longer visible.
6. Point the front of the Antenna toward the center of your team’s coaches’ box. (Loosen the ball mount knob to
adjust the angle of the Antenna, if needed.)
7. Connect a Cat 5 cable to the X-NET IN port on the Antenna. Connect the other end of the Cat 5 cable to the FIELD
ANTENNA port on the Press Box Rack Unit’s rear panel.
