engine speed in revolutions per minute (RPM). Use
these gauges to keep the engine within the proper
operating range.
Refer to the engine operator’s manual for correct
RPM specifications.
7. SPEEDOMETER -
Registers forward speed in
miles per hour. Since the speedometer input is
received from water pressure, accuracy is only
approximate.
8. GPS Unit -
The global positioning satellite (GPS)
system performs many functions. The system can
precisely indicate your location, form a trip record
or a speed log. In addition, individual mapping
chips can be purchased through your authorized
Cobalt dealer for most lakes, rivers and coastal
areas of the U.S. and Canada. See your authorized
Cobalt dealer for further information referencing
these chips.
9. TACHOMETER (starboard engine) -
Registers
engine speed in RPM. Use these gauges to keep
the engine within the proper operating range.
Refer to the engine operator’s manual for correct
RPM specifications.
10. TRIM (Trim Gauge, port engine) -
This gauge
indicates the angle position of the port engine’s
outdrive relative to the position of the bow, up or
down when boat is on plane. Use this gauge in
combination with the trim switches located in the
throttle control.
11. TRIM (Trim Gauge, starboard engine) -
This
gauge indicates the angle position of the starboard
engine’s outdrive relative to the position of the bow,
up or down when boat is on plane. Use this gauge
in combination with the trim switches located in the
throttle control.
12. ACCESSORY (two switches) -
These switches
are available to operate switched accessory items.
BILGE PUMP -
“Bilge Pump 1” switch manually
controls the fore bilge pump. “Bilge Pump 2” switch
manually controls the aft bilge pump.
WIPER (Optional) -
This switch controls the wiper.
INDICATOR LEDS -
The LEDs will illuminate if the
switch is ON.
13. TRIM TAB SWITCHES / TRIM INDICATOR
(Optional) -
These switches control the trim angle
of the optional trim tabs. These used in conjunction
with the drive unit trim will maximize the
performance and ride of the boat. The indicators
display the relative position of the trim tabs.
A
WARNING
