  Replacing Remote Control Batteries

 4 Button Remote Control - Model CAT4M & CATMLED

The batteries inside each remote control should last approximately 1 year for the CAT4M

and 6 Months for the CATMLED under normal use. When the batteries become weak

you will notice the remote control range (the distance from the vehicle the remote control

will work) deteriorate and the small LED on the remote control will dim. Additionally, the

CATMLED will flash the LED 2 times each time a button is pressed when the battery is

low. To replace the remote control batteries:

1.   Remove 1 screw then disassemble the halves of the remote

control by unsnapping the back of the case.

2.   Remove the old battery, observing the +/- symbols on the

batteries and replace with a new battery.

3.   Reassemble the halves of the remote control and reinstall 1 screw.

4.   Test operation of the remote control.

2 Way LCD Remote Control - Model CATLCD

The AAA battery inside the 2-way LCD remote control should last approximately 6

months under normal use.  When the battery becomes weak you will notice the remote

control range (the distance from the vehicle the remote control will work) deteriorate and

the battery icon on the LCD remote control will show 1 bar or less.

1.   Gently slide the battery cover off of the remote control.

2.   Remove the old AAA battery, observing the +/- symbols on the

battery, and replace with a new AAA battery.

3.   Gently slide the battery cover on to the back of the remote control.

4.   Test operation of the remote control.

2 Way LCD Remote Control - Model CATRLCD

The battery inside the 2 way LCD remote control is rechargeable, use the supplied

battery charger to charge the battery until the battery icon on the LCD screen shows 3

bars indicating charging is complete. It is recommended that the battery be fully charged

before normal use.
