When choosing this second option with the
OK
key, the que-
ry screen “CHECK UPDATES?” appears, with two options, as
shown in the picture.
- If no key is touched for 30 seconds, the emitter will return to
the last operating mode.
- If you want to exit the screen without accepting the action,
with
OK
in CANCEL, it returns to Firmware Update menu.
- If the action is accepted, touching the
OK
key in the OK
option, the “CHECKING FIRMWARE UPDATES...” screen
will appear, executing the search for available firmware up
-
dates for the current version of the electronics of the Wifi
COSMOS emitter.
If the update search is run without Wifi network connectivity, either because:
-
There is no Wifi network linked
-
Linked Wifi network is disconnected
-
Linked Wifi network is out of connectivity, or too far away
The search process directly stops, the “NO CONNECTION” screen appears, and
it returns to the Firmware Update menu.
If there is correct connectivity with the linked Wifi network, after verifying if there
are new firmware versions, you cannot find any for the current firmware version
of the COSMOS emitter, the screen “NO FIRMWARE UPDATES FOUND” will
appear, returning to the Firmware Update menu.
Once the search process has started, if the
Mode
key is touched it will stop, ap-
pearing this same screen as confirmation and returning to the Firmware Update
menu.
If it finds the version to update, it will download it and, at the end of this process,
it will update the firmware and display the “FIRMWARE UPDATED” screen, just
before restarting the Wifi Module, with the new firmware version, and returning
to the last operating mode.
Finally, at the bottom of the Firmware Update menu screen, the
current Firmware Version
of
the emitter (which is precisely updated if the search is successful) as well as its identifier Code,
appear in a fixed and informative way.
5.4 SELECTING THE OPERATING MODE
In the Modes menu, beyond the Wifi menu, the desired mode
can be selected by
p
and
q
keys. To select and enter the op-
erating mode, touch the
OK
key.
The emitter will return to the last operating mode if
Mode
key is
touched, or after 30 seconds without touching any other keys.
