GENERAL NOTES
1. Circuit breaker(s) may be used in place of fuse(s).
2. WARNING-For continued protection against fire hazard replace fuses with the same type and rating only.
3. Unit must be permanently grounded and conform to N.E.C. & local codes.
4. Use copper conductors for field-wiring. Class 1, unless noted. All wire based on 105°C insulation wire, minimum.
5. Wire colors shown may differ from actual unit.
6. Drawing line item reference identification:
- Number in parenthesis near output is location of controlled items. First number is sheet #, second & third are line#.
- No underline indicates normally open (NO) contact, Underline indicates normally closed (NC) contact.
7. All intellectual property, including designs and programming logic are the property of Cold Shot Chillers and is not to be
copied or used without permission from Cold Shot Chillers.
8. Design, specifications, and components are subject to change without notice.
9. Options and alternate design and components may exist and are typically dependent on design and specific parts used
for the system.

NOTES
USE: To provide low control voltage to a remote location control circuit dry set of contacts to permit
start and stop the Chiller system function. Chiller Pump function is to pump fluid through the
evaporator of the chiller.
METHOD: Designated numbered terminal blocks requiring specific voltage supplied from external
source, Class 2 wiring capable. Voltage depends on control relay (CR5) voltage. Standard
voltage of relay is 24VAC, unless specified differently prior to order.
1. Voltage to terminals for ON
2. No Voltage to terminals for OFF
3. SW1 on chiller must be in the appropriate position
Interconnections are field supplied and installed.
Temporary Jumper to be removed prior to operation (“J1 “Tag typically attached to jumper wire)
Note on chiller to state that prior to servicing, the selector switch (SW1) must be in the OFF position to
prevent remote operation. Unit could start at any time.
System will have multiple power sources.

NOTES
USE: To provide low control voltage to a remote location control circuit dry set of contacts to permit
start and stop the Chiller system function. Chiller operation dependent on position of system
selector switch (SW1).
METHOD: Designated numbered terminal blocks providing 24VDC (Class 1) voltage to the system
selector switch SW1. Position of SW1 determines mode to start and stop.
1. Contacts must Close for ON
2. Contacts Open for OFF
3. SW1 on chiller must be in the appropriate position
Interconnections are field supplied and installed.
Switch may be Factory or Field supplied.
Temporary Jumper to be removed prior to operation (“J1” Tag typically attached to jumper wire)
Note on chiller to state that prior to servicing, the selector switch (SW1) must be in the OFF position to
prevent remote operation. Unit could start at any time.
