12. RIDING
WARNING
You must inspect your ATV each time before riding to ensure it is in
proper working order. If proper inspection is not done, severe injury or
death could result.
See “4. DAILY PRE-RIDE INSPECTION”
1. Sit upright with both feet on footrests and both hands on the handlebars.
2. After starting the engine and allowing it to warm up, shift the transmission
into gear.
3. Check your surroundings and determine your path of travel.
4. Release the parking brake.
5. Slowly depress the throttle with your right thumb and begin driving. Vehicle
speed is controlled by the amount of throttle opening.
6. Drive slowly, practice maneuvering and using the throttle and brakes on
level surfaces.
