Safety
• Incorrect handling of this product could result in personal injury.
• Great care should be exercised when handling and cleaning
the blade and the bowl. The chopping blade is very sharp.
• The product should always be disconnected from
the mains when it is not in use, when it is to be assembled/
disassembled and when it is to be cleaned.
• The product must not be used by children. Ensure that
the product and its mains lead are kept out of children’s reach.
• The product must only be used with the included motor unit.
• Avoid subjecting the glass bowl to sudden changes in
temperature.

NOTE:
Ensure that the product is switched off before
the bowl is removed from the motor unit.
• Switch the product off and disconnect it from the mains
before removing the blade or any of the moving parts.
• The product may be used by persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capability, lack of experience or knowledge
which could jeopardize their safety, provided they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning the safe use of
the product and understand the hazards involved.
• Never let children play with the product.
• Ensure that the product is used with the correct voltage.
Refer to the product’s rating plate.
• Always remove the bowl from the motor unit before cleaning.
The blade is extremely sharp and could cause serious
personal injury if the product were to start accidentally.
• To prevent electric shocks, the product and its mains lead
should be kept dry.
• Never lay the mains lead over hot surfaces, sharp edges
or corners.
• Always disconnect the product from the power supply by
holding and pulling the plug. Do not pull the mains lead.
• Make sure that all parts are correctly assembled and
that the product is switched off before it is connected to
the power supply.
5. Press the motor unit down in a pulsing motion in order
to chop the ingredients. Once you have finished, unplug
the chopper and remove the motor unit and lid.
6. Carefully remove the chopping blade. Pour out
the chopped ingredients from the bowl.

Cleaning
• Always unplug the product from the wall socket
before cleaning.
• Wipe the motor unit clean with a moistened cloth.
Never immerse the motor unit in water.
• All other removable parts are dishwasher safe.
• Certain pigmented foods may discolour the chopper’s
plastic components when chopped. If this happens, wipe
these parts with a thin film of vegetable oil before placing
them in the dishwasher.
• Be extra careful with the chopping blade, so that you do
not cut yourself while cleaning it.
Disposal
This product should be disposed of in accordance with local
regulations. If you are unsure how to proceed, contact your
local authority.

Operation
Important:
• Never operate the chopper for more than 15 seconds at
a time. Let it cool for 2 minutes between each use.
• Never operate the chopper with the bowl filled with liquid.
• Never use the chopper for hard ingredients like coffee
beans, ice cubes, whole spices, chocolate, etc.
• Cut larger ingredients into smaller pieces, approx. 2 cm
before using the hacker.
1. Remove the plastic cover from the chopping blade.
Place the chopping blade onto the bowl’s centre pin.
Note:
The chopping blade is very sharp.
2. Add the ingredients to be chopped. Refer to
the processing guide for appropriate amounts.
3. Put the lid on.
4. Insert the motor unit into the lid, centring it over the blade
spindle. Plug the mains lead into a wall socket.
