Add New Rule.
General settings
Source
Specify the source address of the traffic to apply the rule to. The source address is the
IP address of the sender.
Source mask
Specify the mask applied to the source address. This determines which portion of the
address is used for matching.
Destination
Specify the destination address of the traffic to apply the rule to. The destination
address is the IP address of the intended receiver.
Destination mask
Specify the mask applied to the destination address. This determines which portion of
the address is used for matching.
Direction
Specify whether the rule applies to incoming data, or outgoing data.
Action
Specify how the CN3000 will treat the data.
• Accept: The data is passed.
• Drop: The data is discarded.
• Drop and log: The data is discarded and an entry is added to the system log.
