WARNING!
The stimulus detection ports on the Modular Treadmill are keyed and not interchangeable. The
input port is on the left and the daisy-chain output port (for the next lane) is on the right.
7.3.2 Connecting Components with Oxymax
Substitute the Oxymax CLAMS chambers with the metabolic modular treadmill lanes to use the treadmill for
metabolic studies.
•
Remove Air In and Sample Out tubing from chamber one and attach it to the Air in and Sample Out
port on the treadmill metabolic chamber lid using an expanse of tubing fitted with the appropriate
connectors.
•
If using multiple treadmill lanes, continue the process using the next consecutive chamber of the
calorimetry system to connect to the next treadmill lane.
•
Secure the tubing on the treadmill lid by tightening the nut.
•
To use the fan, plug the supplied power cord into the fan receptacle on each lid and plug the other end
of the cord into a 110V AC outlet.

Treadmill Controller User Menu
The User Menu is used to set and view various parameters which are saved within the Treadmill Controller.
Access to the menu is provided by unique button presses when the treadmill belt mode is set to STOP and not
under computer control.
If under computer control (indicated by the spee
d setting displayed with “C” instead of “S”), press the
MODE
button to set the treadmill belt to STOP. Then press the ODOMETER RESET button to restore control back to
the user.
To access the User Menu:
Press and hold the RATE button.
Press and hold the MODE button.
Then press and release the ODOMETER RESET button.
Release the RATE and MODE buttons.
The screen will display:
