7. RECHARGING THE BATTERIES
To avoid any permanent damage to the batteries, it is essential to avoid their total
run-down.
After connecting the machine batteries to the battery charger, recharge them
completely. The battery charger usually provides the necessary charge before
automatically switching off. You are advised to use a 36V – 60Ah(CS80) / 36V -
70Ah(CS90) battery charger.
ATTENTION
: for the characteristics of the battery compartment,
refer to the last page.
ATTENTION
: never leave the batteries completely discharged,
even if the machine is not being used While recharging, check the
level of the electrolyte and, if necessary, top up with distilled water.
8. MACHINE PREPARATION, VERSIONS 80D – 90D
Fill the tank with light oil with a low sulphur content.
The maximum capacity is 18 litres (including a 3-litre reserve).
Check the level of oil in the hydraulic circuit (via the bulb indicator lights). The
difference between the two
extremes is about 1.5 litres. Check the motor oil level.
Check the position of the battery cut-out: bring it to the working (horizontal) position.
Observe the warnings given in the Use and Maintenance booklet of the motor for
start-up operations (motor start-up).
