WORK
To start working, proceed as follows (battery versions):
1. Make all the checks listed in “
2. Sit on the driver’s seat.
3.
Bring the main switch (1) to "I", making a quarter turn to the right
with the key (2)
Fig.1)
).
ATTENTION:
when the main switch is activated, the relative
LED (3) will light up on the control panel (
Fig.2
).
4. When the display comes on, three screens appear in sequence.
A.
The first screen shows, on the top line, which type of hour
meter is set (in this case it is a total hour meter). The bottom
line shows the “service” setting (in this case, no setting)
(
Fig.3
).
ATTENTION:
to display a different type of hour meter (e.g.
partial), contact specialised or COMAC-trained personnel.
B. The second screen shows what battery technology has been
set for machine operation (in this case, lead batteries) (
Fig.4
).
ATTENTION:
to set a different type of battery (e.g. gel),
contact specialised or COMAC-trained personnel.
C. The third and last screen (known as “work”) shows the battery
charge status and the total operating time (
Fig.5
).
ATTENTION:
when the batteries supplied with the machine
are fully charged, the top line contains 8 light indicators that
together represent a battery. As the batteries gradually run
down, the indicators go out and, with the batteries completely
run down, only the battery outline flashes.
ATTENTION:
the bottom line shows the hours and minutes
of operation. The flashing “:” symbol Indicates that the hour
meter is counting the machine functioning time.

SWITCHING ON THE MACHINE (B VERSION)
SWITCHING ON THE MACHINE (G VERSION)
To start working, proceed as follows (versions with an endothermic
engine):
1. Make all the checks listed in “
2. Sit on the driver’s seat.
ATTENTION:
when it is running, the endothermic engine
produces carbon monoxide which is a toxic gas. Don't switch
the engine on in closed places.
3. Bring the command lever for the endothermic engine (1) rpm to
about 1/3 of its stroke - shift the lever in the direction shown by
the arrow (
Fig.1
).
4. Select the type of fuel you want to inject into the carburettors
(e.g. gasoline): select “GASOLINE” by moving the fuel selector
command lever (2) in the direction shown by the arrow (
Fig.2
).
ATTENTION: select the same fuel with which
the endothermic engine was last switched
off.
5. Insert the key (3) in the main switch (4) on the control panel.
Bring the main switch (3) to "I", turning the key a quarter turn to
the right (
Fig.3
).
ATTENTION:
when the main switch is activated, the relative
LED (5) will light up on the control panel (
Fig.4
).
ATTENTION:
wait a few seconds before turning the key to
“START” (again to the right), and hold it until the engine starts
up. you can now release the key.
