Seatbelt buckle
Click
Pull out the vehicle seatbelt and insert the seatbelt insert tongue into
the seatbelt buckle until it locks with a “click” sound.
If the vehicle seatbelt is loose, pull up the
seatbelt (shoulder belt) to adjust the
tension.
● Make sure that the vehicle
seatbelt is not twisted or loose.
● Always adjust the vehicle
seatbelt (waist belt) so that it
holds the child’s pelvis.
WARNING
● The child car seat is unstable in the
condition with the vehicle seatbelt not
fastened. If the child attempts to get into
or out of the child car seat without the
assistance of an adult, the child may slip
or fall from the vehicle seat. An adult
must always seat and unseat the child.
● If the child is seated improperly in the
child car seat such as illustrated below,
the child car seat will not function
properly, which is dangerous to the child.
● The child’s arms
must be above the
vehicle seatbelt.
