Don’t:
Drive diagonally on a slope.
Turn the truck around on or travel across a ramp or a slope.
Leave the truck on a slope, except in an emergency. In case of emergency
always chock the wheels.
If it is necessary to drive in sideward mode on a slope with a load the situation must be
fully assessed and a safe work procedure determined before proceeding.
It may be necessary to secure the load to prevent it from sliding off the forks. Forks
with non-slip surfaces or covers may be require to prevent the load from sliding or it
may be necessary to secure the load with ratchet straps or chains.
