7.14 Switching The Dialing
Mode Between Pulse And Tone
If your local telephone service is pulse (rotary dialing), your
telephone is arranged to dial in this manner (when programmed
to do so by the installer). If you need to send tones during a di-
aling sequence (e.g., to send bank-by-phone tones), you can
convert to tone while dialing. The system will switch back to
pulse dialing when you end your call. You can store a # as part
of an automatic dialing number to cause pulse-to-tone switch-
ing where needed.
