Bypass module
The bypass system is an electronic uninterruptible switch that supplies voltage to the loads from
the inverter output or via the bypass line. During normal operation, the receivers are powered
directly from the inverter output, but in the event of such events as overload, overheating or
damage to the inverter, the loads are automatically switched to power supply from the bypass
line.
To ensure uninterrupted switching between inverter operation and bypass operation, the
inverter output must always be synchronized with the bypass voltage. The synchronization is
ensured by the inverter voltage and frequency control system, which guarantees the
synchronization of the frequency generated by the inverter to the bypass voltage, provided that
the frequency of the bypass voltage remains within the acceptable tolerance range.
The UPS is additionally equipped with a service bypass system. Bypass is activated manually in
case of necessity to perform maintenance works on the UPS. Activation of the maintenance
bypass can be performed only when the UPS operates in the electronic bypass mode.
Warning
When the UPS operates in the Bypass or Maintenance Bypass mode, the connected receivers
are not protected against power outages and mains disturbances.

Power supply operation modes
The COVER MY series power supply is a device with double energy conversion, which
enables operation in the following modes, depending on the configuration:
- Normal operation (On Line)
- Battery operation
- Automatic restart
- Electronic bypass
- Service bypass (mechanical)
- Economical (ECO)
- Frequency converter
- Parallel operation (up to 8 units)
3.3.1.
Normal operation (On Line)
In normal operation, the output voltage from the UPS is generated by the inverter. Normal
operation means that there is voltage in the professional network with appropriate parameters,
which is supplied by the power supply rectifier. The rectified voltage is the power source for the
inverter system, which produces a guaranteed voltage with parameters that are stable and
completely independent of the input voltage. In the normal operation mode, the accumulator
batteries are also charged.
3.3.2.
Battery operation
In the event of a power failure in the network, the power supply inverter uses the energy stored
in the battery bank. During a power failure in the network, switching to battery operation takes
