Description of the COMfortel
쏐
Headset
Thanks to the COMfortel Headset you are able to telephone comfortably with your tel-
ephone. You need not have your hands free for holding the receiver.
You have two different possibilities to wear your Headset – with a head harness or with
an ear bow. You may try both possibilities and find out the most comfortable version
for you.
Configuration of the Head Harness
Configuration of the Ear Bow
The COMfortel Headset is suitable for the connection to the Auerswald sys-
tem telephones COMfort 2000 plus, COMfortel 2500 and COMfortel 1500.
To connect the COMfortel Headset to the jack
(DHSG interface) of a
COMfortel 2500 you need the adapter enclosed in the scope of delivery of
the COMfortel Headset.
With a COMfortel 1500 the operation of headsets is only possible instead of
the receiver at the receiver jack
. When connecting the COMfortel
Headset an adapter is necessary that is available as an Auerswald acces-
sory at an authorized dealer.
햲
If you clamped an ear bow on the Headset,
remove it first.
햳
Push the rubber ring with the ear cushion
onto the loudspeaker cover. Please adjust
the recess of the rubber ring towards the
microphone.
햴
In order to attach the head harness, you
click the ball at the end of the head har-
ness into the socket on the backside of the
loudspeaker.
햵
Now you put the Headset onto your head.
Put the ear cushion on one ear and the
T-piece above the other one.
햶
The length of the head harness can be
adjusted for a suitable and comfortable
wearing. If the head harness is still too
tight or too loose, grab it on the metal part
and curve it carefully in the middle.
햷
Turn the microphone to your mouth. Put
the plug that is at the end of the cable into
the Headset connector of your telephone
(see manual of the system telephone).
햲
If you attached a head harness onto the
Headset, remove it first.
햳
Take off the plastic ring with the ear cushion
from the loudspeaker cover.
햴
Put the headset in front of you so that the
microphone points to the bottom and a bit
away from you. The loudspeaker is directed
to the ear on that you will wear it (in the pic-
ture it is the right one).
Now you push the enclosed plastic ring onto
the loudspeaker as shown in the picture. The
flap with the integrated ball-and-socket joint
points in the other direction away from you.
Then you push the enclosed ear bow into the
ball joint from above.
햵
Push the ear bow – the rounded end to the
top – from above onto the ear and adjust it for
a comfortable wearing.
햶
Turn the microphone to the mouth. Put the
plug that is at the end of the cable into the
Headset connector of your telephone (see
manual of the system telephone).
