To program Paired Stations on your system
A paired station is an option that allows a user to swap their original (master) station with a
specified (alternate) station. This allows all of the programmed features and station number of
the master to be transferred to the alternate. The association of the master and alternate
stations must first be programmed by the system manager before the facility is available to the
user
From the Programming Station, press the PROGRAM Key
•
Select ‘System programming’
•
Enter the System Programming Password and select ‘Stations’
•
Press the Scroll Down Key (
) until ‘Paired Stations is displayed
•
Select ‘Paired Stations’.
•
Select which station is the ‘master’ and which is the ‘alternate’
Press the Hands-free Key to finish programming
Once the programming is completed, the phones chosen as master and alternate will have a
new feature added to their idle phones menu. The feature will be
•
Swap with xxxxx
(Where xxxx is the name of the station or number the phone is paired with)
When a user selects the feature (e.g. from the master) and enters a 3-digit code (default 123),
that station (and all it’s programmed features and station numbers) are then ‘swapped’ to the
‘alternate’ station
.
Note:
This feature is to allow remote tele-working using ‘Remote IP handsets’ (alternate) and a
desk phone on the system.

Extra hardware may be needed for this process

Note:
This feature is not available on station 20.
To configure Analogue Lines
There are various options to configure the Analogue Line interfaces on your system. It is
recommended that these settings should only be altered from the original settings if there has
been a change in the network connection.

From the Programming Station, press the PROGRAM Key
•
Press the Scroll Down Key (
) until ‘System programming’ is displayed
•
Select ‘System programming’
•
Enter the System Programming Password
•
Select ‘Lines’
•
Press the Scroll Down Key (
) until ‘PSTN Programming’ is displayed
•
Select ‘PSTN' programming’
•
Select the desired option as detailed in the table below. The options are either
explained in the following pages or in the referenced pages.
Press the Hands-free Key to finish programming.
