To monitor/pick-up callers as they speak to your Voicemail box
You can operate your Voicemail in Voicemail Monitor Mode. In this mode, when calls are
diverted to your Voicemail box and your Station is free, the call is relayed over the speaker of
your Keystation. If you lift your Handset you can intercept the call in which case no message is
left in the Voicemail box.
•
Press the MESSAGE Key
•
Select ‘Voice messaging’
•
Enter your Station number or select your station using the display keys, when
prompted
•
Enter your Voicemail Password, (1111 by default), followed by #
•
Press the Scroll Down Key (
) until ‘Monitor’ is displayed
•
Select ‘Monitor’
•
Select ‘Monitor on’ or ‘Monitor off’.
•
Press the Hands-free Key to finish programming.
Note:
The display will change depending on what option is selected, e.g. if the “Monitor on’ is
selected the display will show ‘Set to on’ on the top line of the display
To change your Voicemail Password
By default, each Station is allocated the same Voicemail Password, (1111). You can enter your
own password, which can be up to eight digits long, as follows:
•
Press the MESSAGE Key
•
Select ‘Voice messaging’
•
Enter your Station number when prompted
•
Enter your Voicemail Password, (1111 by default), followed by #
•
Press the scroll down key (
) until ‘Change password’ is displayed
•
Enter your new Voicemail Password, which can be up to eight digits long
•
Press ‘Confirm’.
Press the Hands-free Key to finish programming.
Note:
If you forget your Voicemail Password, you can check all Voicemail Station Voicemail
Passwords from the Programming Station.
To Record a Call (8 Port Voicemail Module only)
The option to allow you to record a call can be set in system programming.
When Programmed, the option “Record Call” is shown on the display when you are on a call.
The same rules apply to these recordings as do to normal messages left in voice mailboxes.
Read messages are deleted in 8 days and unretrieved messages are deleted in 15 days.

From the Programming station, press the PROGRAM key.
•
Press the Scroll Down key (
) until “System Programming” is displayed.
•
Select “System Programming”.
•
Enter the System Programming Password and select “Stations”.
•
Select “Call Recording”.
•
Select the Stations that are to be allowed to record calls.
Press the Hands-free key to finish programming.
