Enable:
Enable this by checking the box.
•
Server:
The domain name or IP address of PPTP server.
•
Username:
The server authentication user name.
•
Password:
The server authentication password.
•
MTU:
The maximum transmission unit.
•
Keep Alive:
The number of unanswered echo requests before considering it inactive. The
interval between each echo requests is set at 5 seconds.
•
Use default gateway:
If unchecked, no default route is configured.
•
Use DNS servers advertised by peer:
If unchecked, the advertised DNS server addresses are
ignored.
PPTP Server Configuration

Local IP:
I
ndicate server’s IP address.
•
Remote IP:
The remote IP address lease start.
•
Remote IP end
: The remote IP address lease end.
•
ARP Proxy
: If the remote IP has the same subnet as the LAN, then check it for an active
connection.
•
Debug:
For the PPTP server debug. The log can be monitored in the system log.
•
Username:
The server authentication username
•
Password:
The server authentication password.
