IMPORTANT:
When the UPS is connected to utility power, all receptacles will be
immediately energized regardless of the UPS Operating Mode selected by the UPS
ON/STANDBY button.
IMPORTANT:
If the UPS does not include a power cord that is suitable for the application,
contact an authorized Compaq service representative to obtain the appropriate power
cord.

and controls.
Connecting the UPS to Utility Power:
230V Model
The 230V model ships with one IEC-320 jumper power cord. After
exchanging the UPS IEC-320 jumper cord with your computer power cord,
connect your computer to the UPS and the UPS to an electrical outlet. See
Figure 2-4.

Connect the male plug of the UPS IEC-320 jumper cord (A) into a UPS
receptacle. Connect its female plug into your computer male input.

Connect the female plug of your computer power cord (B) into the UPS
male input. Connect its male plug into a utility wall outlet.
