Troubleshooting During Start
Use the actions suggested in this table if problems occur when starting the
UPS.

No utility power.
Contact a qualified electrician to
check power at the utility power
receptacle.
If desired, the UPS can be used
as a stand-alone power source.

Battery voltage is low because the
UPS has been stored for an
extended period of time without
charging.
Indicators:
BATTERY
LOW/REPLACE
LINE STATUS
Alarm:
none
Battery voltage is low because UPS
supported a load (and performed
shutdown) during a blackout.
Allow the UPS to charge the
batteries for 12 hours. Initiate a
self-test: if indicators illuminate
again, replace the batteries.
