Determining Cabling Needs
To determine the SCSI cables needed for your application:
1.
Locate cabling supplies and determine your additional internal cabling
needs based on the types and numbers of SCSI components you plan to
install.
NOTE:
Your Compaq ProLiant DL580 server includes all SCSI cables required for
connecting the SCSI devices shipped with your factory-built server. Compaq SCSI option
kits also contain all required installation hardware. For information on obtaining additional
server connectors and supplies, contact your Compaq authorized reseller.
2.
Locate your SCSI hardware devices. Devices include hard drives, array
controllers, and storage devices.
3.
Follow the interconnect instructions provided with SCSI devices or
located on the Documentation CD.
