OPERATION

DIAMIX PR

and

 COMPAMIX PR

 motorised electronic mixing valves are used in modern heating and/or cooling systems equipped with floor, wall or ceiling radiating panels for the control of the delivery

temperature and the dehumidification system: by exploiting the new functionalities they are able to keep under control the relative humidity inside the house and guarantee the maximum efficiency and the
maximum environmental comfort. Their design fits multiple installation applications: once installed in the system, it is possible to select the type of operation of the motorised valve, enabling or disabling
the various functions.

Fixed-point heating regulation

Outlet temperatures for winter heating is set by means of the actuator keyboard and display. When the room thermostat activates the motorized valve, it acts in order to maintain the outlet temperature constant
with an accuracy of +/-1°C.

Heating system with climatic function

The software automatically calculates the flow temperature to the heating “Tset_point” according to the external temperature detected by the relevant sensor (optional, code RFSONDAT) following programmable
climatic curves.

Tset_point = - (T_est * h1) + h2    where:

T_est = temperature measured by the external sensor.

h1 = angular coefficient of the adjustable curve between 0.1 and 1.0.

h2 = temperature constant adjustable b30°C and +40°C.

OUTLET TEMPERA

TURE T

setclim [°C]

EXTERNAL TEMPERATURE Test [°C]

Example with h1 = 0,5

During winter heating, the Tset_point value is bound to a temperature range of [+25°C; +45°C].

Note: the system reads the external temperature every 30 minutes.

Fixed-point cooling regulation

The outlet temperature for summer cooling is set by means of the actuator keyboard and display. When the room thermostat activates the motorized valve, it acts in order to maintain the outlet temperature
constant with an accuracy of +/-1°C. If the relative humidity and ambient temperature sensor (optional, code RFTRUEE10) is connected, if the difference between the calculated dew-point temperature and the
delivery temperature to the system is lower than the set reference value “CF2”, the motorised valve activates a special alarm by closing a digital contact and displaying a signal (ALc). Moreover, the relative
humidity value is constantly monitored and compared to a programmable reference value “CF1”: if the threshold value is exceeded, the motorised valve activates a special alarm by closing a digital contact and
sending a signal to the display (ALur).

CAUTION: this configuration requires a relative humidity adjustment system in the air-conditioned rooms independent of the mixing valve.

Electrical hazard!

 The unit contains high-voltage equipments.

Scalding hazard!

  Even in normal operation conditions, the unit can reach very high temperatures which may cause scalds.
