IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION 

When using electrical appliances, like the Compax One

, basic safety precautions should always be obeyed, 

including the following: 

 

Close supervision is necessary when used by or near 
children. Do not allow the Compax One

 to be used as 

a toy. 

 

Do not hang, climb, sit, or lean onto the Compax One

™.

  

 

Do not touch moving parts. 

 

Do not operate with a damaged cable set, plug, motor, 
suction device, or with damage in any manner. 

 

Only use intendedly and as described in this manual. 

 

Only use attachments and accessories recommended 
by the manufacturer. 

 

Do not load and compact toxic, flammable, or explosive 
materials of any kind.  

 

Do not load and compact hot or burning items.  

 

Do not overload the Compax One

 

Do not take apart or disassemble the Compax One

Incorrect reassembly can cause dangerous situations 
leading to e.g., electric shock or damage to appliance.   

 

Handle loaded waste bags with care. Sharp and pointy 
objects can pierce the bag and cause injury.  

 

Do not overload waste bags with heavy materials such 
as glass or metal pieces. 

 

The Compax One

 is intended for use in areas of 

residential, commercial, and light industry 
environments only.  

 

The Compax One

 must be properly connected to 

protective earth.  

 

Unplug the Compax One

 before servicing or making 

any repairs.  

 

Do not modify the plug attached to the Compax One

use only with a grounded receptacle. 

NOTE:

 All service and repairs must be performed by 

qualified or trained personnel.

 

To prevent hazard of electrical shock, the Compax One

 must be installed and grounded in accordance with 

the information provided in the 

Product Installation 

section

,

 before it is used. Consult a qualified electrician if you are in doubt 

as to whether the Compax One

 is properly connected to protective earth.  

 

Follow national or local prevailing electric codes and 
ordinances. This appliance must be supplied with 
mains power of 220-240 V at a frequency of 50-60 Hz 
and connected to an individual, grounded branch 
circuit protected by a suitable circuit breaker or fuse. 

 

If the electric supply provided does not meet the above 
requirements, contact a licensed electrician. 

 

Using a separate circuit serving only the Compax One

 

is recommended.  

 

Do not use an adapter plug or an extension cable with 
the Compax One

 

Do not, under any circumstances, cut or remove the 
protective earth wire from the power cable, or cover 
the grounding areas on the power plug or receptacle. 

 

The Compax One

 is equipped with a cable having an 

equipment grounding conductor and a grounded plug. 
The plug must be inserted into an outlet that is 
installed and grounded in accordance with national or 
local prevailing electric codes and ordinances. 

 

Do not modify the plug appurtenant to the Compax 
One

. If it does not fit the outlet installed, have a 

compatible outlet installed by a qualified electrician.
