A- Secure the first two boards into place at each end of the platform structure using the 13/64” drill bit to pre
drill the holes through the plastic and into the floor joist. Secure the boards into position using the #14 x 2 ½
pan Phillips SMS. The leading edge of the board should be flush with the edge of the square tubing. Now that
these two boards are secure lay each of the remaining boards up and onto the floor structure and space them
out evenly and to your satisfaction. They will be approximately ½” apart from each other, as shown in the
diagram below.
Installing the plastic Lumber
Tools needed:
Electric drill, 13/64” drill bit, 18 or 20 volt impact driver (preferred tool) or a cordless or electric
drill can be used to drive the screws.
