any other detections) are enabled and configured in the Detection tab. The list contains the following
items:
Motion: when motion event is detected, action will be taken (from notification list).
IO Input: when IO input is detected, action will be taken (from notification list).
Manual: when manual event triggers, action will be taken (from notification list).
Audio: when audio event is detected, action will be taken (from notification list).
Video Signal Loss: when video signal loss is detected, action will be taken (from notification list).

Camera Event List:
Lets you choose the types of events that can be detected by your IP camera and
can be used to trigger event notifications and actions. You can choose one or more of these events to
monitor.

Update ComproView® IP to the Camera:
Click to update the up-to-date address of the Notify Server to
your Compro IP camera.
•
IO Input:
Select the sensor for IO input, or you can click the “Setup” button to set up sensor from IO
devices setup.
Notification Settings
•
Notification List:
Lets you determine what types of notifications can be sent. You can choose one
or more of these notifications to activate when an event is triggered. You also need to make sure
corresponding notification setting is configured in the Alert tab. The list contains the following items:
IO Output: when an event is triggered, IO Output will send out a signal (I/O needs to be enabled
beforehand).
PTZ: when an event is triggered, PTZ preset points / patrol group movement will begin (PTZ preset
points and patrol groups need to be defined first).
Zoom: when an event is triggered, ComproView® will switch to single channel view that displays the
channel on which an event is detected.
Screen: when an event is triggered on a channel, the video pane will begin flashing to notify the user.

IO Output:
Select the IO device to trigger. Hit [Setup] to go to the IO tab to configure your camera's IO
devices.

PTZ Preset:
When an event is triggered, move your PTZ camera to a preset position. (Only available for
PTZ cameras.)

PTZ Group:
When an event is triggered, start the selected patrol tour for your PTZ camera, which makes
the PTZ camera rotate through different predefined camera positions. (Only available for PTZ cameras.)
