Advanced Settings
•
Enable Image Mask:
Enable / Disable image mask function that will allow you to partially or completely
block certain portion of the live image in order to mitigate invasion of privacy concerns. Once you
enable this function, you can further choose to completely block out the masked area by clicking
[Invisible] or to ignore the activities in the masked area by checking [No Check].
•
Ignore Small Object:
Click to ignore the smaller objects in the video feed. Once you enable this option,
you can go on to define the dimensions of a small object by pressing [Setup]. Then click and drag the
4 nodes of a rectangular appearing on the camera image to define the dimensions of a small object.
Any objects smaller than the defined area will be ignored afterwards. (Note while you are defining the
dimensions of a small object, the location of the rectangular in the scene does not matter.)

•
Show Information:
Click on the combobox to choose the type of information (marker) you want to see
when IVS (intrusion detection, tampering detection, or tripwire detection) is functioning.
•
Moving Path:
Lets you determine the number of nodes of a moving path as far as how the moving path
will be visualized, when IVS is functioning.
•
Scene Reset:
Hit the [Reset] button to clear all the information ComproView® has gathered and learned
about the video scene. The aggregate information includes what the backgrounds, foregrounds, and
objects are in the scene which helps the IVS function (namely intrusion detection, tampering detection,
and tripwire detection) work better. If you shut down ComproView® for a while and then launch
ComproView® again in a different time of the day, you may want to clear the old scene information and
make ComproView® build up its information on the current scene from scratch.
