8. In the event section, click on the event list combobox (or camera event list combobox) and then pick
the event types you want to use to trigger event recording. The event list combobox contains all the
available event types that can be detected by ComproView®; the camera event list combobox consists
of all the available event types that can be detected by Compro IP cameras. In other words, use event
list combobox when you want to record events detected by ComproView®, or use camera event list
combobox to record events detected your Compro IP cameras (with the latter requires you to set up
Notify server on your Compro IP cameras).
9. Press “Apply” to save the changes.
10. Press “OK” to close the system configuration console.
11. Click the “Start all" icon
(the icon shall then turn red) to start recording.

Set Up a Recording Schedule
The “Schedule” tab of the system configuration console lets you tailor recording operations to your particular
applications. To schedule a recording operation, refer to following section.
Schedule Non-Stop Recording
To make ComproView® continuously record video during a specified time range:
1. Enter the system configuration console by clicking the Setup icon and then choose “Setup”.
2. Go to the “Schedule” tab.
3. Click on the channel number to choose a channel. The selected channel row will be highlighted in
light blue.
4. In the Time section, manually put in the start time and end time. Alternatively, you can click on the
timeline to set the start time, and then drag the time bar to the point in time when you want the
recording to end and then click again to set the end time. (You can use the horizontal scroll bar to
adjust the width of the timeline.) To update your start/end time, simply click and drag on the timeline
again.
