Search result panel –
Here it displays the results based on your search criteria. Double-click any found
item to start playing back. You can sort the search result by clicking on any column header.
Server Filter –
If you have added more than one server (RS-3232) to the server list, you can click on the
combobox and choose which server you want to search.
Channel filter –
Select the channel(s) on this server to search.
Event and Time filter –
Click the event combobox to choose the event type(s) you would like to use to
search for recordings. Then put in the start time and end time to delimit a time range for search. The
default time range is designated as one day before current system time.
Search button –
Press the button to search ComproView® database on RS-3232 based on current
search criteria.
Snapshot button –
Allows you to take a snapshot of the current video frame in the video pane.
Open file –
Open a recording stored on your remote viewing PC and play it in the browser window.
Download –
Download the retrieved recording you've selected from the search result pane.
Video window –
Displays video.
Playback speed –
"Plus" button for increasing playback speed; "minus" button for slowing down
playback.
Playback control –
From left to right: 'jump to the beginning', 'previous frame', 'play/pause', 'next
frame', 'jump to the end.'
Volume control –
Drag the slider to adjust volume; click the speaker icon to mute / unmute.
Seek bar –
Drag the seek bar to any position to start playing from that specific point.
Search for and Play Recordings
The following parts explains how to search for recordings, play back recordings, take snapshots, and
download recordings from RS-3232 on the Playback page of ComproView® WebVUer.
Search for Recordings
To search for recordings, you need to set your search criteria before hitting the [Search] button, which
can be done using the Time/Channel/Event filter.

Time Filter:
Time filter lets you designate the time range to run your search. The default time range is
within the current day.

Channel Filter:
Click the channel number to select or deselect any channel. Click the left arrow or right
arrow to switch between the 1st and 2nd 16 channels.

Event Filter:
Event filter allows you to search for recordings initiated by an event trigger. By default, all
the event types are selected. Click the event combobox to tailor your selection.
After you have set your search criteria, press the [Search] button in the upper-right hand side. WebVUer will
then search RS-3232 database for any recordings that meet your search criteria. Recordings matching your
criteria, if available, will then turn up in the Search Result pane on the left.
