Programming chasers
Chasers are QLists that sequence automatically according to the chaser
attributes in the
Playback Properties
dialog box.
The chaser designation and all chaser attributes are saved with the
QList.
Chaser attributes include:
Chaser pattern
Chaser behavior when stopped
Chaser direction
To designate a QList as a chaser
1.
Load the QList to a playback device.
2.
Press
SETUP
.
3.
Press
SELECT
(where the QList is loaded).
The
Playback Properties
dialog box opens.
4.
Choose
chaser
from the
QList Mode
drop down menu.
5.
Tap
STORE
or
CLOSE
.
The QList will run as a chaser. The fader LED is red.
The chaser control keys are:
chaser attributes can be controlled on-the-fly or preset in the
Playback
Properties
dialog box.
Chaser rate - controls the speed of the chaser.
XFade - controls the chaser’s look. Set to 0 (zero) for a hard chaser
(bump from step to step). Values above zero run a soft chaser (fade
from step to step). The higher the value the longer the fade from
step to step.
Int.(ensity) Limit - sets the maximum dimmer output level.

GO
Start the chaser.
HOLD
Stop or pause the chaser.
STEP
Manually bump from cue to cue.
Reverse the direction of the chaser.
