4.1
Battery Charging
WARNING: Do not attempt to charge nonchargeable AA batteries.
1.
Use only the supplied 6 VDC Charging adapter to charge batteries.
2.
Plug charging adapter into 6 VDC port on bottom of meter.
3.
Do not overcharge batteries.

Battery Replacement
OMM Series meters operate on two 1.5 VDC “AA” batteries. Two rechargeable batteries and an AC
charging adapter are supplied with the meter. The rechargeable batteries may be replaced with standard
1.5 VDC AA batteries.
To replace the batteries:
1.
Use a common screwdriver to turn the battery compartment lock ¼ turn counter-clockwise.
2.
Lift the compartment panel off using the kickstand.
3.
Remove old batteries.
4.
Install new batteries. Ensure polarity is correct.
5.
Reinstall cover and turn locking mechanism ¼ turn clockwise to lock.

Storage
OMM Series meters should not be stored in extreme high or low temperatures. Store in a clean, dry
location. If device is to be stored for an extended period remove the batteries and store separately.
