HE4000 Encoding System

ComtechTV standard product NMS backward compatibility
For compatibility with NMS designs based around the ComtechTV TE6000 modular products, the
HE4000 will accept slot numbers in mnemonics. For example:
AE A BR 256000 sets the Audio A bit rate to 256000. The HE4000 will accept AE.1.A BR 256000
as an alternative. The slot number is accepted but ignored.

The Master Controller commands are:
MC DESCR displays the system description
MC CONTACT sets contact info for the system
MC NAME sets the system name
MC LOCATION sets the system location
MC SN displays the system serial number
MC VERSION displays the software version
The serial port commands are:
MC BAUD sets the serial port baud rate
MC DATA sets the serial port data bits
MC PARITY sets the serial port parity
