HE4000 Encoding System
3.18.2 Setting the Time
The time is in a 24-hour format and must be set from 00 to 23, where 00 is midnight and 23 is 11
PM. For example, for 8 AM the hours would be set to 08, and for 8 PM the hours would be set to
20. Both minutes and seconds can be set from 00 to 59. To set the time:
1.
From the main menu, select Admin.
2.
Select Clock. The Clock menu displays the current date.

Scroll to the Time parameter using the right or left buttons.
5.
Use the keypad to type in the correct hour, minutes, and seconds in the format
hh:mm:ss
. The HE4000 automatically enters the colons “:”.
6.
Press the Enter button.
3.19 System Reset
To reset the HE4000:
1.
From the main menu…
2.
Select right arrow.
3.
Select Reset.
4.
Press the Enter key.
The HE4000 is reset to the last configuration set; all programmable logic and firmware is
reloaded; the unit is restarted; and the fault history log is cleared.
3.20 Embedded Audio Configuration
3.20.1 Configuring the Encoder for Embedded Audio
To configure the encoder for embedded audio, the following parameters must be set:

HE4000>Service>AudioA(B,C,D)>Source>Embedded
3.21 Embedded Audio Configuration (BISS/PGCA)
