Body Fat Measurement and Weight Tracking

Note: If you do not wish to track all your measurements (body fat, body water, BMI, as
well as current weight, and difference between current weight and start, last and goal
weights), you do not have to go through the entire sequence every time you weigh in.
1. If you wish to go through the body fat sequence only, press the user number

and the up arrow. Then follow the directions below for the body fat sequence.

2. If you wish to track your weight only, press your user number and the down

arrow. Then follow directions below for the weight-tracking sequence.

sure the balls of your feet cover the metal plates, and adjust your position
according to the leveler indicators on the display.

2. The indicators show where you are off center. Dashes on the left show that too

much of your weight is on the left side of the scale; dashes on the right show
that too much of your weight is concentrated on the right side. Try to balance
yourself in the center.

3. Once you achieve the correct position, the center diamond will flash.

Current Weight

1. Your current weight reading appears on the display and displays for several seconds.

2. To the right of the digit display, a chart lights up that graphically displays your last 7

weights, with today’s weight on the far right and the oldest weight on the far left.
Oldest weight (in lbs or kgs) is displayed as a number underneath the chart as well.
Every time a new weight is added to the chart, the oldest weight drops off the chart.

blink underneath.

2. Press the SET button to accept your current weight as start weight.

3. START becomes stable for 2 seconds.

Goal Weight

1. Following established health guidelines, the scale will now automatically

calculate your goal weight as 10% off your start weight.

2. The Goal weight blinks.

automatically calculated goal weight. Goal weight becomes
stable.

scale is now ready for tracking and monitoring your body fat, body water
(hydration), BMI and weight.

Using your Weight Watchers Weight
and Body Fat Monitor

Now that your scale has been customized for you, it is ready for easy everyday
use. Your scale will show you a multitude of measurements. After several uses,
you will get used to the way information is displayed. Generally, the scale will
display the following in this order:
- current weight
- current BMI
- current body fat in lbs (or kg)
- current body fat in %
- current body water %
- current weight again
- difference between current weight and last weight
- difference between current weight and start weight
- difference between current weight and goal weight

Note that until you have weighed yourself several times, the scale will not have
enough measurements to show differences in weight and to show graphs of
other measurements. Scale will display “0.0” or “Null” until enough data has
been entered.
