OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Before the first use
Prior to operating a new appliance for the first time, wipe it with a wet and then a dry cloth.
Airing mode
In this mode, the vapors are ventilated through the output pipe into the shaft and out of the room. If the carbon
filters are installed in the appliance, remove them (Refer to Cleaning and Maintenance chapter).
1. By pressing the „+“ and „-“ buttons, select the fan power level (1 – 3) required.
2. After use, switch the appliance off by setting the fan power level to „0“.
Re-circulation mode
If you have no possibility to take the air out of the room, the re-circulation mode can be selected. In this mode, the
vapors are filtered through metal and carbon filters. Active carbon in these filters absorbs odours, and the clean
air flows back to the room through holes in the upper chimney cover. For this mode, you must buy and mount
corresponding carbon filters (Refer to the Cleaning and Maintenance chapter).
1. By pressing the „+“ and „-“ buttons, select the fan power level (1 – 3) required.
2. After use, switch the appliance off by setting the fan power level to „0“.
Lighting ON/OFF switching
By pressing the button, you switch the lighting on. Subsequently pressing the button you switch the
lighting off.
Delayed turn-off function
1. 1.Select the fan power level required (1 – 3).
2. By pressing the button, you activate the delayed turn-off function. A dot symbol will flash on the display
indicating this mode selection.
3. Set the required delayed turn-off time in the range of 10 – 90 minutes by repeatedly pressing the „+“ and „-“
buttons. The display shows tens of minutes, i.e. 1 = 10 minutes; 2 = 20 minutes etc. Confirm your selection
by pressing the button (On the timer display is shown the fan power level selected, and the dot symbol is
flashing).
Note:
If you do not confirm the delayed turn-off setting within 20 seconds, the setting will be cancelled and the
delayed turn-off function deactivated.
4. The appliance will be switched off automatically after the preset time runs out.
Note:
If you press the button during countdown, or if you turn the fan off manually before the delayed turn-off
time runs out, the delayed turn-off function is deactivated.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
• Before any maintenance and cleaning, disconnect the power cord from the mains or switch off the circuit
breaker of the mains outlet of the appliance.
• Do not immerse the supply cable, the plug, or the appliance itself in water or any other liquid.
• Set all controls in the OFF position.
• Clean the outer surface of the appliance with a wet cloth, or use a neutral cleaning agent.
• Do not use steel wool, coarse sponges, abrasive agents, solvents or aggressive cleaning agents.
• Do not use an autoclave to clean the appliance!
