OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Caution
Prior to using a new unit, wipe the surface with a wet cloth and wash the removable accessories in warm water due
to hygienic reasons.
The unit has a built-in safety catch (7). The motor can be switched on only if the accessories are properly mounted.
Do not bypass the safety mechanism!
• Turn the speed controller (10) from the OFF position to switch on the appliance and set the required speed.
• Use the PULSE position to apply pulse operation.
• You can improve the efficiency of kneading certain types of dough by mounting the auxiliary plastic knife (26)
above the basic kneading knife (27).
• Never leave the appliance unattended while it is running or connected to the mains.
• Some parts may keep moving for a while immediately after the motor has been switched off and the
power cord disconnected from the socket. Wait until the accessories stop completely and only then open
the lid.

• Prior to any cleaning or change of the extensions, make sure the speed regulator (10) is in the OFF position and the
power cord is disconnected from the socket.
• Take extra care when handling sharp parts.
• Make sure the safety lid and the work bowl lid are correctly fitted.
• Never fit cutting extensions to the lower drive shaft without ensuring that the work bowl is in place! First fit the
work bowl to the body of the unit and then insert the cutting extensions.
• The cutting blade is not designed to grind coffee beans or sugar into powder.
1. Put the unit on a stable surface.
2. Mount the work bowl 2) to the body of the unit (1) so that the handle points
backwards. Fasten the work bowl by turning it.
3. Mount the drive shaft (3).
4. Remove the cutting blade safety cover, insert the cutting blade (28) in the
work bowl and fit it on the drive centre shaft (3).
WARNING! Be careful. After use, always take the blade (28) out of the bowl prior
to removing the food. Always store the blade with the safety cover fitted.
5. Put food in the bowl.
6. Fit the work bowl lid (4) and turn it slightly. The lug on the edge will click into
the hole in the work bowl handle. Make sure the drive shaft axis fits the handle
in the lid.
7. Turn the work bowl lid slightly until it clicks into place. The safety catch will be
pressed.
8. Connect the feed cord to the socket.
9. Switch the motor on and set the required speed. Use the tamper to add food
during the cutting process; do not use any other objects or your hands to do
so.
10. When you have finished cutting, set the speed regulator in the OFF position
and disconnect the power cord from the socket.
