OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Place the unit on a stable surface or floor to prevent it from tipping over. Remove the entire feed cord from the
storage space and uncoil it.
2. Connect the power cord plug to the wall outlet.
3. Select the required function using the mode selector:
0 = Off
= Cool air
= 50% heating capacity (1,000 W)
= Full heating capacity (approximately 2,000 W)
4. You may set the required temperature in the room using the thermostat regulator. When heating function
or is selected, the unit will alternately switch on and off, thus keeping the required temperature.
Note:
A more accurate temperature can be set as follows:
Set the thermostat to the maximum, and switch the heating to or . When the required temperature has
been reached in the room, turn the thermostat slowly to a lower temperature, until the unit switches off.
If you use the fan in the cool air mode , set the thermostat regulator to the maximum.

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
Warning!
Before cleaning the unit, always disconnect the power cord from the wall outlet!
Prior to handling, make sure the unit has cooled down!
The surface of the unit may only be cleaned using a wet cloth. Do not use any detergents or hard objects, as they may
damage the unit’s surface!
The air inlet and outlet grilles should be cleaned frequently to ensure proper operation of the unit and to avoid
overheating.
Dust accumulated in the unit may be blown out or removed by a vacuum cleaner.
Never clean the unit under running water, do not rinse it, and do not submerge it in water!
TROUBLESHOOTING
The unit is equipped with a safety fuse that cuts off the power supply to the heater, and restores it after it cools down.
If this happens in the course of ordinary operation, check the cleanliness of the inlet and outlet grilles, or change
location of the unit to improve the air circulation in and around the unit.
Caution
When turning the unit on for the first time or after a prolonged downtime the unit may emit a slight odour. This odour
will vanish after a short time.
Note: Do not use the unit in rooms smaller than 4 m
