When trying to play video, the message “CODEC NOT SUPPORTED” is displayed;
The movie file is created with a non-supported codec for the CM2H.
Refer to the website www.conceptronic.net for a list of supported codecs for the CM2H.
The CM2H does not display all hard disk partitions / content:
The partition on the hard disk is not primary. Re-partition the hard disk again and make sure all
partitions are set to primary.
The hard disk is formatted in a filesystem which is not supported by the CM2H. Reformat your harddisk
with the FAT32 or NTFS filesystem.
There are no media files on the selected partition.
The DVD/ISO playback does not start when the Play/Pause button is pressed:
Make sure you use the correct folder structure. The folder structure is described in
chapter 8.1
.
The DVD Files are incomplete, corrupt or damaged. When this happens, the CM2H does not start DVD
playback.
During the intro-movies of the DVD, the screen goes blank:
The current chapter ends with a blank screen or is too short to playback. Press the „
Next
‟ (
30
) button
to switch to the next chapter.
My TV shows a black/white picture instead of color:
Your TV cannot handle the "Multi" TV-System of the CM2H. Use the Setup menu to change the TV System
to PAL. (See
chapter 9
). After changing the TV System, turn off and on the CM2H.
The files I just added to the CM2H do not appear on my TV:
The CM2H is not safe removed from your computer. Reconnect the CM2H to your computer, wait until
you can access the harddisk and use the safe removal function to disconnect the CM2H.
I cannot copy files from my SD card to my CM2H:
Your harddisk is probably formatted with the NTFS file system. The CM2H cannot write files on the
CM2H file system. Therefore, the copy function will not work.
To have the benefit of both large file support (NTFS) and the copy function (FAT32), we suggest you to
make 2 partitions on the harddisk of the CM2H, so you can use both functions.
