A manual restore is defined as the operation of taking the contents of one (1) or CD/DVD volumes and copying them into one (1)
destination folder on the network. The user must have access top the destination folder. Please consult with your network
administrator if in doubt.
4.3 Automatic
Backup
This is one of the main features of AutoTracer NAS. By setting up a schedule, one (1) or more folders on one (1) or more computers
may be backed up by AutoTracer NAS.
All the hardware and software are included as part of the appliance. No additional hardware or software is needed.
This section describes how to set up a schedule to perform an automated backup of a folder on a remote machine.
5. GUI
The GUI for AutoTracer NAS is implemented via HTML. In order to view the GUI most modern web browsers can be used. Internet
Explorer (IE) from Microsoft Corporation is the recommended web browser. Please use IE version 5.0 or higher. If you do not have
it available, you can download it from the web.
The following sub sections of this manual describe the different pages that make up the GUI for AutoTracer NAS.
5.1 Configuration
The following figure shows the page used to configure AutoTracer NAS.
