1 Intended use
The product is a battery powered multipurpose appliance.

The massager attachments are not intended to be used over areas near the spine and neck, over highly
sensitive areas, and on private parts.
The massager attachments are not medical devices. Do not use them for self-treatment.
The product is intended for indoor use only. Do not use it outdoors.
Contact with moisture must be avoided under all circumstances.
If you use the product for purposes other than those described, the product may be damaged.
Improper use can result in short circuits, fires, electric shocks or other hazards.
The product complies with the statutory national and European requirements.
For safety and approval purposes, you must not rebuild and/or modify the product.
Read the operating instructions carefully and store them in a safe place. Make this product available to
third parties only together with the operating instructions.

4 Description of symbols

This product must only be used in dry, enclosed indoor areas. It must not become damp or
wet.

Do not use this device in a bathtub, shower or water-filled reservoir.
5 Safety instructions
Read the operating instructions carefully and especially observe the safety informa-
tion. If you do not follow the safety instructions and information on proper handling,
we assume no liability for any resulting personal injury or damage to property. Such
cases will invalidate the warranty/guarantee.
5.1 Read first!

This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years
and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the haz-
ards involved. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be
made by children without supervision.

Children shall not play with the appliance.
■
WARNING! Do not use this appliance near bathtubs,
showers, basins, or other vessels containing water.
■
Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. This may become dangerous playing mater-
ial for children.
■
The product is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
5.2 Personal safety
5.2.1 Personal safety for massagers
■
Loose jewellery, clothing and hair can get caught in moving parts and lead to injury. While operating:
– do not wear jewellery,
– do not wear loose clothing,
– keep your hair tied up.
5.2.2 Personal safety for hairdryers
■
Jewellery or similar objects can get sucked into the air intake and block the motor. Hair pins can enter
the air intake and cause short circuits. Remove jewellery, hair pins and similar objects before using
the appliance.
5.3 Handling
■
Handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts or a fall even from a low height can damage the product.
5.4 Electrical safety
5.4.1 Power adapter
Do not tamper with power supply components. Risk of death by electric shock!
■
Always ensure proper connection.
■
Never use damaged power supply components.
■
Do not modify power supply components.
■
Connect the appliance to a wall socket that can be accessed easily.
■
As power supply, only use the supplied mains adaptor.
■
Only connect the power adaptor to a normal mains socket connected to the public supply. Before
plugging in the power adaptor, check whether the voltage stated on the power adaptor complies with
the voltage of your electricity supplier.
■
Never connect or disconnect power adaptors if your hands are wet.
■
Never unplug the power adaptor from the mains socket by pulling on the cable; always use the grips
on the plug.
■
For safety reasons, disconnect the power adaptor from the mains socket during storms.
■
Do not touch the power adapter if there are any signs of damage, as this may cause a fatal electric
shock! Take the following steps:
– Switch off the mains voltage to the socket containing the power adapter (switch off the correspond-
ing circuit breaker or remove the safety fuse, and then switch off the corresponding RCD protective
switch).
– Unplug the power adapter from the mains socket.
– Use a new power adapter of the same design. Do not use the damaged adapter again.

Ensure that cables are not pinched, kinked or damaged by sharp edges.
■
Always lay cables so that nobody can trip over or become entangled in them. This poses a risk of in-
jury.
5.4.2 Li-ion battery
■
The rechargeable battery is permanently built into the product and cannot be replaced.
■
Never damage the rechargeable battery. Damaging the casing of the rechargeable battery might
cause an explosion or a fire!
■
Never short-circuit the contacts of the rechargeable battery. Do not throw the battery or the product
into fire. There is a danger of fire and explosion!
■
Charge the rechargeable battery regularly, even if you do are not using the product. Due to the re-
chargeable battery technology being used, you do not need to discharge the rechargeable battery
first.
■
Never charge the rechargeable battery of the product unattended.
■
When charging, place the product on a surface that is not heat-sensitive. It is normal that a certain
amount of heat is generated during charging.
5.4.3 Electrical safety for hairdryers
■
For additional protection, the installation of a residual current device (RCD) having a rated residual
current not exceeding 30 mA is advisable in the electrical circuit supplying the bathroom. Ask your in-
staller for advice.
■
Only use the supplied charger or charging base to charge the appliance. The use of non-compatible
chargers or charging bases can lead to fire or explosion.
■
Keep the appliance away from sources of water. Water will damage the appliance when it enters the
appliance. If water enters the appliance or the appliance falls into water, have it checked by an au-
thorized specialist workshop before using it again.
5.5 Operating environment
■
Protect the appliance from extreme temperatures, strong jolts, flammable gases, steam and solvents.
■
Protect the product from high humidity and moisture.
■
Protect the product from direct sunlight.
5.6 Operation
■
Consult an expert when in doubt about the operation, safety or connection of the appliance.
■
If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, take it out of operation and protect it from any
accidental use. DO NOT attempt to repair the product yourself. Safe operation can no longer be guar-
anteed if the product:
– is visibly damaged,
– is no longer working properly,
– has been stored for extended periods in poor ambient conditions or
– has been subjected to any serious transport-related stresses.

Do not hold or operate the product with wet hands. The product may slip and injure someone or get
damaged. Dry your hands before picking up and operating.
5.6.1 Massaging
■
Not all body parts are suitable for massaging.
–
WARNING! Do not use on or near the spine and the neck area. Risk of nerve damage!
– Do not use over your face or head (unless designed for scalp massaging).
– Do not use over areas of impaired sensation.
– Do not use over wounds or injuries.
– Do not use on or over highly sensitive body parts.
– Do not use on private parts.

Do not use without a massage head. Body parts can get trapped and injured in the oscillator.
■
Always select a massage head suitable for the body part you massage. If in doubt, consult a qualified
professional.
■
Body parts can get trapped between massage head and oscillator. Keep body parts clear while oper-
ating.
■
Excessive force can cause bodily harm. Apply the massage head carefully and with appropriate force.
■
Excessive massaging can lead to skin abrasion. Apply the massage head only for short periods of
time.
5.6.2 Operating the hairdryer
■
Do not operate the appliance unattended.
■
Do not use the appliance to dry synthetic hair. Synthetic hair can catch fire or melt when heated.
■
Covering the air outlet will damage the appliance and can lead to fire. Do not cover the air outlet.
■
Keep the air inlet unobstructed. Dust, hair, and fluff make the appliance overheat. Do not cover the air
inlet while operating the appliance.
