b) More than one outdoor sensor is available
1. If you are already using the weather station with one (or two) outdoor sensor(s), then remove all batteries from
the weather station as well as from the outdoor sensors and wait for at least 1 minute.
2. Place the batteries in the first outdoor sensor, see chapter 9. a).
3. Insert the batteries in the weather station within 2 minutes of powering up the first outdoor sensor; see also chapter
9. a).
The display of the weather station carries out a brief function test (all display segments are displayed) and a blip
is emitted.
Close the battery compartment again and place the cover of the battery compartment making sure it locks in place.
The readouts for the indoor temperature and the indoor humidity as well as the barometric pressure are indicated
in the display of the weather station.
4. Now the outdoor temperature and the outdoor humidity of the first outdoor sensor (channel 1) must be displayed
on the weather station. This is followed by the display of the signal reception icon. If this is not the case within two
minutes, then the batteries must be removed from both units. Wait for one minute and start again from step 1.
5. After the data of the first outdoor sensor are displayed on the weather station proceed to inserting the batteries
into the second outdoor sensor.
Insert the batteries in the second outdoor sensor within 45 seconds max. after the reception of the data
of the first outdoor sensor.
6. Now the outdoor temperature and the outdoor humidity of the second outdoor sensor as well as the symbol
"Channel 2" should be displayed on the weather station. If this is not the case within two minutes, then the batteries
must be removed from all units. Wait for one minute and start again from step 1.
7. Once the data as well as the "Channel 2" icon are displayed on the weather station, insert the batteries into the
third outdoor sensor, if available. The data of the third outdoor sensor should be displayed within 2 minutes as
channel 3 readouts.
Once the third sensor is successfully received, the channel icon will shift back to "1". If this is not the case, a
resetting must be carried out; go back to step 1.
Always insert the batteries at the latest within 45 seconds after the weather station displayed the
information specific to the first outdoor sensor; or insert the batteries in the third outdoor sensor
immediately after the reception of the data of the second outdoor sensor.
If the settings for additional outdoor sensors are not carried out as described above, transmission
problems may occur and the outdoor sensors will not be correctly detected.
In the case of transmission problems, go back to step 1 and follow the instructions.
The reason for this precise procedure is that the outdoor sensors register at the weather station with
a code; this excludes faulty recognitions of other sensors.
8. The reception icon (1) for DCF data flashes at the top left side of the display; the weather station carries out a signal
search for DCF data.
Please read chapter 9. c).
