11. Troubleshooting
Take note of all the safety instructions in these operating instructions!
Problem
No reception
Outdoor sensor is not de-
tected
DCF signal is not detected
Display "- -" with indoor
temperature or humidity
Display "- - " with outdoor
temperature or humidity
Solution
• Distance between weather station and outdoor sensor(s) is too big; bad
radio reception due to proximity to metal objects or electrical/electronic
devices.
• Change the installation site.
• Batteries of the outdoor sensor are weak or empty. Try inserting new
batteries in the outdoor sensor and proceed as described in chapter 9.
• A different transmitter on the same or an adjacent frequency interferes
with the radio signal of the outdoor sensors. Change the installation site.
• Proceed in the correct order when putting into operation, see chapter 9.
• Reduce the distance between outdoor sensor and weather station.
• Change the location site of the weather station. Avoid the proximity of big
metal surfaces, electric or electronic devices etc.
• A signal search is carried out after inserting the batteries only and then
again at night (see chapter 9 c).
• Is the DCF reception switched off? Check the corresponding settings. In
the basic setting by delivery, the DCF reception is always switched on.
• If time and date were set manually, this is then used for the display until
a DCF signal search is carried out (at night, see chapter 9.c).
• Value of temperature or of air humidity is beyond the measuring range
(see chapter 16).
• Value of temperature or of air humidity is beyond the measuring range
(see chapter 16).
• Outdoor sensor was not detected, see above
