• "Color" function
"Auto":
Automatic settings.
"White Balance":
White balance can be adjusted to the surroundings. There are four pre-
programmed correction values.
"Sharpness":
There are 3 settings to adjust the algorithm for sharpness correction.
• "Quality" function
As described in chapter 11 d), there are two compression options for JPG image files. If
"High" is selected for low compression, the pictures take up more memory space but are of
higher quality due to the compression, which is advisable with pictures with strong contrasts.
"High":
High quality, low compression
"Normal":
Normal quality, normal compression
• "AE Type"
Set the frequency of the mains supply (50 = 50 Hz, 60 = 60 Hz).
Only make an adjustment if you want to take pictures in a big room with fluorescent tubes
to prevent possible lines in the pictures. If used outdoors, no adjustment is necessary.
• "Date Time Stamp" function
If this function is activated ("ON" or "OFF"), date and time information is added to the picture.
If you do now wish to have time and date in the picture, deactivate this function. The
information cannot easily be removed from the picture (in a lengthy process, it can be
removed with image processing software).
• "Auto Power Off" function
To save power, you can set a time (at least 30 seconds) for the "Auto Power Off" function
to switch off the camera automatically if no button is pressed.
